Tiny But Mighty

The newest member of the family, Gem. Gem was born yesterday afternoon on a very cold but sunny day to Anastasia. She is a doeling and looks just like her mom.

Unfortunatly with every blessing some heartache tends to fall. Delilah also had her a doeling during the night. She had shown no signs of approaching labor (her first time) so was in the barn. The temps dropped to 16 and I found her in the morning alive but suffering from hypothermia. We all struggled all day to save the little one but alas it wasn't to be.
