Kids and Spring!

Finally spring is here. We have just kidded our last kids this week. We have 7 kids in all. 4 doelings and 3 bucklings. 3 sets of twins and 1 single. One of the set of twins was born to Fiona, a first time mother! She has taken to motherhood with a vengeance, never leaving their side, talking to them constantly and nipping the cats if they get too close.

We are gradually having all our goats fiber tested by Yocum McCall testing labs to assure you the best qual;ity fiber and to help us in our decisions on breeding.

The last weekend in May will find me at the Middle Tennessee Fiber Festival in Dickson. I will be a vendor there and teaching a class, Fear No More. This is all about spinning ANY type of fiber.
