Fall is Coming

Though it's still plenty hot, the days are getting shorter. Fall and winter will be here before we know it. I love the fall, it's my favorite time of year. Warm days and cool nights. Beautiful colors everywhere. A lot of work goes into getting ready for the winter on a farm. It's hard to believe with all our lush grass that in a short time we will be in need of a lot of hay. So this is the time of year that you will see farmers haying all their fields. We will be selling some of our stock for hay money and so that we will have less goats to feed thru the winter.
